Legacy of Hyrule 12

Atom raced as fast as he could to Kakariko making a journey that usually was about 6 hours he made in less then 2. He looked up and saw Bublin Riders surrounding a newly erected gate as he got closer he saw a Darknut also standing in front of the gate.

“Come on you Bastards,” Atom shouted pulling out his sword, “What do you got?”

Atom charged the Bublins and quickly killed their riders. He begun charging at the gate but the Darknut stepped in the way, slashing his horse, causing Atom to fall to the ground. Atom got up and saw his sword a few feet from him. He went to grab it but the Darknut stepped between Atom and his sword.

Atom looked up at the Knight and said “I kill you with my bear hands if I have to.”

The Knight swung his sword. Atom leaned back nearly avoiding the blow. Atom then rammed into the Darknut hopping to throw it off balance long enough to grab his sword, however the barely budged. The Darknut drew up his sword preparing to strike again. Atom looked just behind the knight was his sword. Atom rolled between the Darknut’s legs grabbed his sword and begun striking the knight without mercy. Eventually enough the armored creature fell to the ground and did not move. Atom went back to his horse that was severally wounded and couldn’t be ridden anymore.

Atom looked at the gate and asked himself “How am I supposed to get around that?”

Atom noticed something shinning on the ground. Apparently one of his enemies was nice enough to drop the key on the ground. Atom took the key opened the gat and ran as fast as he could into town.    

As soon he got into town he looked around and saw many Cassandra battling many Bublins.  Atom ran to her as fast as he could, slashing at the creatures as he passed. Atom got to Cassandra and took a position at her back.

“Where is everybody at? Atom asked stabbing one of the creatures.

“Basch is injured in the Sanctuary” Cassandra shouted as her shield slammed ageist a Bublin’s sword “Angel and I got split up, I don’t know where she is. Everyone else ran up to Death Mountain.”

The Battle continued for several minutes until the ground below them begun to rumble.

“What’s going on, Cassandra exclaimed beginning to loose her balance “More monsters coming?”

Atom looked at the Gate to Death Mountain and smiled “ No something worse.”

As soon as he said that the wooden door was smashed into splinters and whatever Gorons were left in the mountains rolled down into the village destroying all in their path. One of them rolled right up to where Cassandra and Atom. Cassandra put her shield up in an attempt to stop the charging Goron. The Goron stopped and unrolled a few inches from Cassandra and stared her eye to eye. Cassandra shield slapped the Goron over the head. The Goron looked at her stunned gave out a little moan got up and walked away.

Atom ran as fast as he could to the sanctuary. Inside Renaldo was tending to Basch’s wounds.

“Atom, I am glad that you are here.” Renaldo said leading him to the other side of the room. “I have done all that I am able to do. I am can do now is make him comfortable now. Do you understand what I am saying?”

Atom looked up at Renaldo, tear forming in his eye  “Basch, the only thing close to family that I have, is going to...” Atom trailed off.

“I afraid so.” said Renaldo.

“Atom, is that you?” moaned Basch

“I am here.” Atom said running to Basch

“Angel...he took her...” Basch said “A man...he looked like the hero from the legends, but he was somehow different. I tried to stop him but...”

“Don’t worry about that.” Atom said trying to hold back the tears
“I am proud of the man that you have become. “Basch said barely marinating consciousness “You are everything I could of ever asked for in a son.” With that Basch closed his eyes and gave one last sigh.

Atom walked out of the sanctuary and went to the armory it was about this time Tidus road up.

“Atom what’s going on?” asked Tidus

“They killed Basch and took Angel” Atom said picking up bombs and putting them into his bag.

“Do you know where they are” Asked Tidus

“Nope” Atom answered as he picked up a potion

“Do you know how to get there?” Tidus continued  

“Haven’t a Clue” Atom replied as he grabbed a new bow and some arrows

“Do you even know where they are going?” Tidus asked

“No Idea” Atom said, “Basch is already dead, their is nothing more that I can do for him but even if their is but a slightest chance in hell that I can save her then I am going to take it. I love her to much, I can’t just let her go.”

“You hose is injured” Tidus said “At least let her stay the night in the spring to heal, If you still fell the same tomorrow then I won’t stop you.”

Atom turned to him smiled and said, “You wouldn’t have been able to stop me anyways.”

“Yea Whatever” Tidus responded

The next morning at the crack of dawn Atom was on his horse riding out to Hyrule Fields. He road to a point where he could see as far North as the Eldin pass as far south as Kakariko Village and as far East as Hyrule Castle.

He surveyed the area and said to himself “Angel where are you?”

At that moment he remembered the Legends of old the sages in the Arbiter’s Grounds aided the Hero to overcome the Twilight. If a “Dark Hero” was in Hyrule the sages might know something about him. He turned his horse and headed east to the Gerudo Desert, Hoping to find something that could help him find he one he loved.
